"Double
Standard"Main Cat hull # 16
LOA 30ft BOA 18ft Minimum Draft 2ft
Sail Area 500 sqft
The
Maine Cat 30 is an open deck, performance cruiser with standing headroom in the
hulls and under the hard top, which covers the entire cockpit. The port hull
contains a large galley with a two burner stove, referigerator, cabinets on both sides,
twin stainless steel sinks and plenty of counter space.
Aft of the galley is a settee
that can serve as a navigation station. It makes into another double bunk. There is
another single bunk forward of the galley. Pictured on the right, the starboard hull
has the "Master Suite" with double bed, hanging closet, dresser and private head
forward with a "camper type" hand shower. Please excuse the clutter. We
were underway when these pictures were taken. I'll replace them with prettier
pictures at some point in the future, but hey, we were busy driving the boat. The
navigation station is a mess because we only used it for storage, prefering to navigate
from the cockpit table.
On the left is the view from
the head looking aft. On the right is the view from the dressing area looking forward.
Below is the view while seated on the toilet.
The cockpit is huge by any standard and can comfortably seat 10
or more.

The center picture is the view from standing in the starboard hull, looking across the
cockpit.
