2 pounds unpeeled, medium-size fresh shrimp 7 bacon slices, chopped 2 medium onions, diced 1 large green bell pepper, diced 3 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced 4 garlic cloves, minced 2 (28-ounce) cans diced tomatoes 1/4 cup cocktail sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper Hot cooked grits |
PEEL shrimp, and devein, if desired. Set aside. COOK bacon in a large skillet until crisp; SAUTÉ onion in hot drippings 5 to 7 minutes. STIR in tomatoes and next 3 ingredients. Prep: 35 min |
